1. Broadway Dance K-2 and grades 3-12:
Students will learn the basics of ballet, tap, jazz, and musical
theater dance. This class will focus on the more technical
dance aspect of Musical Theatre. We will use this group as
an extension of the staging class and be the core group of
dancers in the musical numbers we stage. This is when we are
so overcome with joy that we can no longer sing but DANCE
like no one is watching. In this class we will stage, choreograph,
sing, act, and perform an entire musical number from some
of your favorite and more popular musicals. The more kids
we have the bigger and better the number will be.
2. Dance-Audition Prep: (Ages 8 and up)
Teaches children about the dance audition process. They will
learn the combinations you will see at auditions. All styles
of dance will be used: ballet, tap, jazz, modern, hip hop.
Preparation makes for success!
3. Hip Hop: (grades 3-12)
This class will get your body moving to the latest hip-hop
music while learning the latest trends in dance.
