Chris Burke |
| Chris Burke has been teaching and playing music professionally in the tri-state area for 10 years. A graduate of Pleasantville High School, he then attended the University of Rochester and the Ontario Institute for Audio Recording Technology in Canada. Since meeting John Fanelli at a New Year’s Eve event in 2004, Chris has musical directed a number of shows with the Lighthouse Youth Arts Center (LYAC), which includes Godspell, The Sound of Music and High School Musical. For the past two years he has been the musical director for LYAC’s summer workshops as well as teaches piano and guitar in the after school classes. Starting this fall he will be the Musical Director for the Concert Choir, which is a new program at LYAC. In his spare time he plays Hammond organ and piano in a number of rock bands in the area, including the Geoff Hartwell Band. |
