John Fanelli - Founder/Artistic Director

John J. Fanelli  (Artistic Director) holds a degree in Theatre Arts from the University of California, San Diego. Mr. Fanelli has had more than seventeen successful years directing, teaching and creating programs for young people in theatre arts. John helped to establish a network of theatre programs for young people that spanned the coast of California and reached to New Zealand. He returned to NY in 2004 and developed Westchester Broadway Theater’s Young Artists of the WBT. He expanded his reach and scope of programming by taking over as Artistic Director for the Times Square Group, NYC, where he developed and implemented educational theatre programs for the public schools of NYC. In 2006, Mr. Fanelli  founded his own non-profit educational theatre company called Lighthouse Youth Theatre and Education, Inc. LYT is an amalgamation of John’s professional and educational talents that blend into one organization dedicated to training young people in the arts and giving them the tools necessary to succeed not only in the arts, but in life.

Lauren Lucksavage - Director of Programming

Lauren graduated summa cum laude from Five Towns College with a B.F.A in Theatre Arts (concentration in Musical Theatre). She also studied abroad with the Shakespeare Institute where she worked hand and hand with the Royal Shakespeare Company. Since graduation she has been working consistently as an actor all over the United States.  Some of her favorite shows include: Seussical (Gertrude McFuzz), Thoroughly Modern Millie (Miss Dorothy Brown), The Secret Garden (Lily), and Cole Porter’s Your Never Know (Maria). Lauren is often cast to create roles/characters for new works. She appeared in the first national tour of Oz the Musical starring American Idol’s Diana DeGarmo, a new contemporary twist on the Wizard of Oz, and in The Children of Children, a new rock opera, at Bleeker Street Theatre, to name a few.

Jenna Dallacco - Resident Voice Instructor

Jenna Dallacco graduated summa cum laude with a Bachelor of Music in Vocal Performance from the Steinhardt School of New York University and was the first student to graduate from the program with a minor in Speech Pathology and Audiology. Her vocal prowess has brought her to sing for and with the likes of: Alan Menken (Academy, Grammy, and Tony winner), Michael Feinstein (Grammy and Emmy winner), Peter Asher (Grammy winner), Marc Kudisch (SMASH, Tony nom.), Sheldon Harnick (Tony winner), Tovah Feldshuh (Tony & Emmy winner), Celeste Holm (Academy Award winner), and Emily Skinner (Tony nom.). Jenna is a resident member of the critically acclaimed Broadway by the Year Chorus at Town Hall NYC, where she has worked with Grammy Award and Tony Award winners. This year she had the honor of singing as a guest artist at the legendary Feinstein's Cabaret at the Regency. Jenna has also been asked to create roles in many new musicals. Favorites include the title role in Queen Esther, and Last Night in Gotham; both by Salzman & Cunningham (Drama Desk nom.), Cruel Shoes with Liz Larsen (Tony Award nom.), One Step Closer for Alan Menken, and The Johnny for the NYC Fringe Festival.  She is a proud member of Actor's Equity Association and the New York Singing Teacher's Association Inc.

Carrie Silvernail
Lyrical Theatre Dance, ZUMBA​


Carrie Silvernail began dancing at age 3 in Goshen, NY under the direction of Marya Kennett.  At a young age she realized the joy she found from teaching and was instructing her own classes at the Marya Kennett Dance Centre by 16.  For the past 8 years she has taught various styles throughout the area including Ballet, Jazz, and Lyrical.  Carrie truly believes teaching dance is her passion and thoroughly enjoys seeing all her students grow from their first class to their last.

Jennifer Jonas

Tap Dance, Ballet, Pilates, Stretch & Strengthen

Jennifer Jonas (JJ) has a BFA in Dance from The Boston Conservatory. While at the conservatory she was able to study ballet pedagogy and train under Leslie Woodies, Donna Silva and Denise Pons to name a few. Jennifer started her dance training in Goshen, NY with Marya Kennett. In addition to dance, Jennifer is also a certified Pilates Instructor and worked at Boston Body Works under Kathy Van Patten. Ms. Jonas has been with professional ballet companies BalletRox and Eryc Taylor Dance. Jennifer has also been a guest artist as Sugar Plum Fairy in The Nutcracker. She has performed in regional theaters, WPPAC (Cats: Victoria/Asst. Chor.) and Westchester Broadway Theater with Family Theater Group (Seussical; Jungle citizen, Music Man; Zaneeta Shinn/Asst. Chor.). In addition, she has performed in 9 to 5 (Ensemble/asst. Chor), Hairspray (LuAnn/Asst. Chor.), A Chorus Line (Kristine), Fiddler on the Roof (Fiddler/Asst. Chor.), Grease (ChaCha/us. Patty Simcox/Asst. Chor.), Oklahoma! (Dream Laurie/Dance Captain) to name a few. She also has played various roles in The Nutcracker, performed an excerpt of Giselle, was a soloist in Paquita and many other original works. Jennifer has been a guest teacher for Louisiana Delta Ballet in addition to being Asst. Choreographer for Cats at The Strauss Theater. Ms. Jonas has also assisted with choreography at Yorktown Stage with Greg Baccarini and Clocktower Players with Josue Jasmin. Palame Productions hired her to choreograph New York! New York!, a musical revue tribute to 9/11. She has also choreographed for Stamford High School, Goshen Central High School's annual Mr. GHS pageant and Lighthouse Youth Theatre's Grease. Jennifer is glad to be with Lighthouse Youth Theatre!
